The Prince George’s County House Delegation will hold its first meeting of the 2012 Maryland General Assembly on Friday, Jan. 13 at 9:30 a.m. in Room 150 of the House Office Building in Annapolis, Delegation Chair Melony G. Griffith announced.

“The upcoming session promises to be a challenging one,” Chair Griffith said. “But our united efforts on behalf of our county can again yield great success for our county and citizens.”

The delegation will take on 34 pieces of legislation during the 90-day session. Residents are invited to attend the weekly meetings of the 23-member delegation, which normally convenes Fridays at 10 a.m. in Room 150 of the Lowe House Office Building at 6 Bladen Street, Annapolis, Md.

Updates will be posted frequently on the house delegation’s website at www.princegeorgeshousedelegation.com throughout the session.

Because meeting times and topics can change frequently, residents are encouraged to check the latest updates online before travelling to Annapolis. For more information, contact the delegation office at 301-858-3074 or email pg2@mlis.state.md.us.
